PJ Reed

Sound Technical Design

PJ is a sound graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), who spent his time developing sound systems and putting them onto the VCA stages.

PJ began as an actor in high school, performing in multiple volunteer shows. PJ really enjoyed bringing smiles to people's faces when he did pantomimes like Peter Pan and Aladdin. However, one day he stood in the spotlight and decided, "I want to help these actors be heard and understood." PJ's father has also been into sound mixing for his local church for quite a long time. This gave him the prior knowledge to study at the VCA.

So PJ decided to start venturing into the world of sound, working on the same shows in different ways like composing and helping to construct the sound system. From then on he attended the VCA to find out what makes Tech behind the scenes work.

Through the VCA, PJ learnt the vastness that shows can reach in terms of complexity. Thus leading his passion into musical theatre and large scale shows. PJ is looking forward to his future work and intends on working his hardest to provide a system that will suit your event.
