Courses
The graduates of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Design and Production) have completed specialist study in the areas of stage management, design and the realisation of sets, costumes, lighting and sound.
Throughout the course students have contributed to the creation of large-scale performances with Music Theatre, Theatre, Acting and Dance students from across the VCA. Their portfolio of work demonstrates their creativity, dedication and readiness to embark on a career in the Performing Arts.
The graduates of the Master of Design for Performance have developed skills, knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to successfully take on design roles for live performance. Guest lectures from the industry and staff who are also experienced practitioners ensure the training is professionally relevant and current.
Through placements on productions within VCA and industry internships, students have gained practical experience and have developed a portfolio of work to showcase.
